It looks as though a promotion at work may be in my very near future. Extra money (not enough to mention, though) and a lot of added responsibility. This is what I wanted, right? Right?

A new year and let's look back and see what i wanted to accomplish in 2005; and if I followed through with any of it.

Lose weight-check and counting

Pay off revolving debt-Almost check

Make 2005 better than 2004-check, but not by much

I guess this constitutes a slow moving work in progress. I can only do so much at once, I guess.

If I was a more patient man things would probably go more smoothly for me. I just have this problem where I have been in this slump for so long that I feel like I need a huge boost to get me out of it. In actuality i should be trying to gain whatever ground I can. I'm just sick feeling like I'm scraping by by a little larger margin than the last time things came around. I am seeing the small progress is starting to take over my setbacks, though. I'm still not even with it all but momentum has swung in my favor.

All I can do is keep moving forward. Just keep looking up. Keep looking out for Tim.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing alright.
