Good ending...
So yesturday started out rough but finished with a bang. First off the ex had to leave town a day earlier then planned. This means I have my lil buddy until Monday. Have I mentioned I love this kid. Next I went to a wine bar I love to go to called Vine Expressions in Gilbert.
Great little place usually laid back. Tonight though they are having a Gilbert Small Business Owners meeting. I run into a guy who was a personal trainer at Goldens Health Club. I used to be the GM of the club like ten or twelve years ago. It was nice coming across him, caught up on old times. Then I continued to meet people from all other stages of my life. Including three of my ex's friends from church that she hung out with. The helped out a lot. I thought I was always the bad one in the relationship. One of them stopped being her friend while we were married. I found out why finally, I guess my wife wasnt always the perfect little Morman wife she claimed to be and didnt exactly always act like a married woman should. Hmmm! There were many other things they told me as to why they weren't that close with her anymore. One of the ladies even had a glass of wine with me which was nice. It has been strange since my wife and I got divorced I come across all kinds of people who knew us. All up to this point ignore me like I was a total stranger. I have even said "hi" to some and they just snear and look the other way. Finally though I come across some who treat me as a human being and werent cheerleaders for my wife and saw that she wasnt always perfect. My ex was like the "perfect Morman woman", I was judged my my looks alone. Me with my tattoos, different hair colors and styles, wine drinking, dark skin, etc. had to be a heathen. Hahaha Oh well
Now on to the cutest kid in the world. Him and I have plans for the weekend most of which he came up with. His main thing is going hiking. He is only five but a hiking machine. Probably go to South Mountain this time. Tomarrow though we are going to the Matsuri Festival. It is a Japanese festival at the Heritage Park in Phoenix. It should be a blast. It has been all the other years I have gone to it. He had so much fun at the Chinese New Year one and this is better by far. I just need to remember and bring the camera. I try to capture as many moments I have with him know especially since his mom is taking him to San Francisco at the end of the month.
HURRAY for the weekend with my boy (he wanted me to put the pirate)
