Yay! for finally breaking in these boots. They are super-comfy-like now.

Driving is scary/fun. I'm finally getting around to learning the actual process of driving. Took the classes last year, but couldn't schedule in-cars till now because the people on the phone are stupid. It's kind of a bad thing to do right when you start, I suppose, but I had my first experience driving at night, in the pouring rain, and with 3 other people in the car on Saturday night (in my friend's broke-down tin can of an excuse for a car that she calls a Chevy Beretta, no less). Surprisingly I did fine. Despite the fact that the acceleration was super twitchy and you have to floor the brakes to get the damn thing to stop. That threw me off at first.

Hm... so yes... that's four different cars I've driven in now. Apparently it's good to learn to deal with different cars early on... that and to learn in really difficult cars. At least according to another friend of mine, but he's actually a pretty ridiculously good driver, so I trust his word on that.
