I'm considering switching majors from comp sci to journalism, and then minoring in either whatever I want to write about or photography, possibly both if I can swing it. When I can get a chance to (probably after college) I want to pack all my stuff into a van and do some sort of nomad type thing. I'd find temp "steady" jobs and do freelance journalism/photography work wherever I decided to go and just move whenever I felt like it. Rinse and repeat until I get tired of it or find a reason to settle down somewhere. The idea would be just to gain as much knowledge about different things, places and people as I possibly could along the way.
