What a fucking brilliant individual Nin was. This video makes me want to get back into her again but now (yes a male) in my mid-30's and not a young man in his early 20's (who back then saw her as less important than DH Lawrence and Henry Miller, but to me now is more interesting and a better writer). Also excellent for the women she discusses. I'd forgotten about Lou Salome and the kind of person she was and the effect she had on the men in her life. I remember when seeing a photo of her and Nietszche then finding out she called off the engagement between them, and knowing how fascinating she was, it explained so much to me about Friedrich.
PS - This video should be called instead "Anais Nin on women who inspired her". Very little about Nietzsche (although very interesting what little is discussed about the Super Man …)
