"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is really a very funny play. I think I may like this whole Louisville Shakespeare company thing. Too bad I didn't have any money to donate tonight. Rosencrantz was played by a foxy lady, which added an interesting dimension to things. The only funnier Shakespeare-related piece I've seen is the production of Hamlet in Kyle Baker's The Cowboy Wally Show.
Then my friends and I gathered up snack food and settled in to watch Muiholland Drive. Big mistake. It might have bored me regardless, but after two hours of witty Tom Stoppard banter, Lynch's plodding, almost dialogue-free movie did me in about halfway through. So here I am, back at home.
I was up till five on the phone last night. What am i to do with myself?

chiquita:
yah, i agree that mulholland drive was a bit cumbersome. i didn't hate it, but it was just not interesting enough for me to try to figure out any of the hodge-podge anti-plot. what ever happened to the good old days of "blue velvet" and "wild at heart" and "twin peaks," by god?!
