Amelie sent me an Edward Gorey book. "The Epiplectic Bicycle." I've never read an Edward Gorey book before today. It's absurd and amusing. So is the fuzzy giraffe bookmark she sent along with it. I like these sorts of things. Too bad about the alligator, though.
Great. A paper to finish and my new comics arrived for the month. Terrible terrible. How can I be expected to write with all sorts of graphic storytelling goodness sitting just on the other side of the room? Tank Girl, Transformers, something called "Tozzer and the Invisible Lap Dancers"... Invisible lap dancers! And I'm supposed to do schoolwork? Fuck's sake, man.
Maybe this'll teach me to get an early start on assignments.
Heh. Fuck yeah, sure it will.
