Got some allergy tests done today. Seems I'm allergic to maple trees, dust mites, some molds, and cats. Guess what's fucking everywhere I go? That's right, all that shit there. My cats aren't going anywhere, though. I'd rather attempt to cut down all the maple trees in town than do that.
My mom's being a pest. "Ask them this. Ask them that. Why didn't you ask them about this other thing? How do they know you're allergic already if they haven't finished the tests?" You'd think being told by an allergist the big bumps on my arm mean I'm allergic to the stuff she just injected under my skin would be enough. Pfah.
Got my Simpsons dvds yesterday evening after I got home from class. And I still managed to spend more time talking to Amelie than I spent watching these wonders from my teenagerhood. She said she was evil and selfish for keeping me up so late. That's okay; I'm evil and selfish, too.
Just exchanged a few quick IMs with a friend of mine from my high school Japanese class. Haven't seen him or talked to him since I graduated, but I tracked him down via the miracle that is the web. Seems he's teaching English in Japan, just like I always wanted to do. He's a great guy, and it's good to see he still kickin' around.
Steve Aylett's Shamanspace is a fuckin' weird book.

My hair was blonde when I got the job, but pretty soon it's gonna have blue in it too. Time to watch the boss freak out. :p

you and whoever else is coming up with you for the Beck/Flaming Lips show should come up beforehand and hangout with me and Lex.
