Last night was fun. After watching some friends play cards, I got awfully high and played Scattergories. I fooled or nearly fooled a few people with a couple of my answers, but gave in to my weekness for monkeys and chose the "date" categpry, the answer to which was "Two monkeys are launched into space." Everyone knew immediately what the true answer was. I should have gone with the acronym on the card: GSCA, the Giant Schnauzer Club of America.
Dang ol' monkeys.
Amelie's still in Tampa. I should use this time to maybe write something for the school paper. That'd be nice of me. They like me and think I'm funny. I wish I knew why.
(Pssst -- read the stuff I wrote for the paper already: http://homepages.ius.edu/Horizon/MMC.html )
[update in the form of an edit:]
I bought my plane ticket to New York today. Amelie and I arrive and leave NYC at approximately the same time. I say "approximately" because the last day there I'll have to spend about three hours alone in the airport after she leaves. But that's still some time off; I haven't even left town yet, right?

I just started there as a graphic design major.
