Accursed Macbeth.
Reading the play is one thing, like all Shakespeare it takes one's full faculties just to follow the plot and not get lost, catching subtle hints is nigh impossible...
And i'm supposed to write a paper on how Macbeth shows us the view people had of kings and power in that era.
Yeah...
It'd probably help if I'd performed this play during my theatre stent, like Romeo and Juliet or Midsummer Night's Dream... then I'd already have the plot down par and could read to pick up quotes and subtle points.
As it stands, i've got to try and get the play down in my head...then actually start this paper. *breaks out the coffee*
