Oh man, I was right about the party in Huddersfield... Lots of jello shots, and lots of losing dignity. And I'm not sure if its a good or bad sign that I didn't get incredibly drunk either...
But it was a pretty good party, for the most part - to the point where I didn't sleep a wink. Got my caffeine fix soon as I got back into Manchester - and seriously, when you've had been awake nearly 30 hours, drank copious amounts of alcohol, sobered up and gone without make-up, it really makes your day to be the only one with a smiley face put on their cup. Especially when the barista is kinda cute (and very busy.)
So, half way through my week off work... For once, I've actually been as productive as planned! It's been glorious. :') I'm just hoping I can keep it up!
You got the usual sketchbooky stuff... Mostly just studies and practice this week.
Finally finished up a little mini canvas painting I've been wanting to do for a while now, based on Grieves' song "Smile for the Blade":
(This was the reference image I shot/used for it - with my little weird vampire fang on the left there.)
And today I got home from town, sat in front of the computer and painted this in more or less one sitting (about 4-5 hours):
I've been addicted to Ed Sheeran lately, so I figured I'd borrow his face for practice. Turns out he has a really fun face to paint, who knew.
By the way, I've started a new art blog, which is going to be my main place to post all of my stuff. It's still pretty new yet, but if you're interested in the work I do I'd really appreciate you popping over and giving it some love!

As for my mood... I like to think my mood has improved. No, it has. I had (a lot of) long deep thoughts about life choices and direction and all that weighty stuff... Still don't have a sure path but I feel a little more purposeful at least. Just trying to keep going and keep optimistic :')
I think it's safe to say fall has officially left us. Winter is here and my fingers and toes are constantly cold. I miss sunshine.
But still. There's always christmas yet! December in four days... Almost time to start singing Cliff Richard...
