So I was reading that Terry Shaivo thread, and everyone seems to be under the impression that she is completely brain dead. I don't know how this could be true, since she isn't. She is awake with her eyes open and responds to sounds and colors and tries to say words. Kind of like an infant I guess. But she's alive.
I guess it would be really shitty to be on the brink of death.. and have the American public debate whether you should live or not, and I'm afraid ultimately decide your fate for you. Because EVERYONE knows what's best for EVERYONE else.

I mean, if you just look at the movies and music that Americans watch and listen to you can tell that the general public is pretty bright.
