I just saw a documentary about teen sex and sex education in America and America is pretty fucked up. They talked to some teens in Europe and they all carried condoms with them all the time and the schools would pass them out for free. If someone didn't have one they'd think it was kind of weird. But here they talked to some teens and they said if they knew someone carried a condom with them that they would think that person must but a pervert or a slut (and not in a good way). Some of the parents they talked to in Europe let their kids have sex in their own beds. I'm sure there's a few parents in America that would let their kids do that but I bet it's probably less then 1%. And of course teen pregnancy and STDs here are something like 2 to 3 times higher. Maybe it was even more than that. I like living here but I wish people would just wise up and tell their kids that sex is a good thing if you're just smart about it, not try to scare the shit out of them. Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.
