OkayNew week, time to update.
So this is what Ive been up to the last couple two or three weeks.
-The job I was just recently referred to did not work out. Thats the problem with getting a big salary from a small company; their margins arent high enough to justify the extra salary. Then theres always the micro management problem. I always hate that. Long story short, I left a job that wasnt paying my bills to a job I thought was gonna answer my financial dilemma, but ended up in a worse position having to start all over from scratch.
-The day I was let go I realized I had a spider bite on my thigh. (at the time I didnt realize it was a spider bite) After a week of agony and another week changing gozz pads every 4 hours and taking antibiotics four times a day, the doctor finally says its a spider bite. Duh
Everyone told me it was a Brown Recluse spider but I didnt think they were indigenous to Cali. So after some research on spider bites, I found out some interesting facts:
1-There are no known populations of the Brown Recluse in Cali.
2-The Brown Recluse is freakin hardcore!!! Do not get bit by one!!!!
3-I think a Hobo spider bit me. Similar to the brown recluse.
4-And spider (or glue) traps cost $3.27 at your local Home Depot. (I havent caught any yet)
This is the best picture of what the side of my leg looks like. The first picture is close. Do not look if youre squeamish.Brown Recluse bit similar to a Hobo spider bite. Ive got a hole in my leg the size of a quarter and half as deep. Yait sucks!!!
Dang necrosis!!!
-My spirits are a little better now that Ive gone through a couple weeks of depression (which is not me) and pain and suffering. Doctor told me to stay off my leg, dont even mow the lawn. Im going stir crazy I tell you. I havent been to the gym in a couple of months. AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
-I still love my wife. (and life)
-Ive managed to keep all this quite from you all. Thanks for being patient with me. And for those who wished me well. You know who you are. That meant a lot to me. I always try to help friends in need and am glad when someone does the same. Thank you!!
-I got to see someone at Thanksgiving I havent seen for about 25 years. (that makes me sound old) My sisters ex-boyfriend before she was killed. He was a big part of my life then. As soon as I gave him a hug, he went from smiles to tears in nothing flat. It was a touching moment to say the least.
Thats all for now, this is getting too long.
---
I'll leave you with a smile (I hope) This is not meant to offend. And if it does...grow thicker skin. It's meant to be humorous. And if you've seen it, enjoy it again. By the way...has anyone of you seen this?
The end of the world
