I was tagged so...
Twenty random things about me:
1. My hebrew name is Hannah Shoshanna (this is phonetically close, but I don't have the hebrew alphabet here)
2. My parents were hippie intellectuals and as a child I couldn't eat meat, sugar, processed starches, soda, or fruit juice (carrot and wheat grass was o.k.). We were only allowed to watch Mr. Rogers on TV, and I got Skipper instead of Barbie because my Mom didn't want me to grow up expecting Barbie's measurements.
4. I used to feel that I had superior intelligence. Now I fear that I'm simply above average.
5. My best features - my legs, collar-bones, and my smile
6. The most famous people I've met: Bruce Willis at a Globetrotters game when I was 11 (Moonlighting days), Judge Wapner (People's Court) at the Hollywood Bowl, Itzhak Pearlman behind the stage at the LA Philharmonic, David Crosby when I went to camp with his daughter. I just realized that I don't have any women here...Oh' yeah...I met the dancer who was on the right of Michael Jackson on the Thriller video--she was my dad's GYN patient and gave me an autographed picture of her in her thriller get-up.
7. As a young jewish american princess, I planned to be a lawyer and the first woman president. My Grandmother brought me to the Democratic National Convention when I was 5. She was a delegate.
8. My favorite things about having a Chinese step-dad are the special good-luck pudding we make for Chinese New Year, dim-sum on Sundays, and those red money envelopes.
9. I am at the healthy end of an early mid-life crisis.
10. I've never had my hair colored or a professional manicure/pedicure. I have had facials, body wraps, waxes (in all sorts of intersting places), massages, and laser hair removal.
11. I do most of my studying and banking at work.
12. I have anxiety attacks during movies that depict sexual violence or torture, particularly if the victims are children or women. Violent sodomy of men really messes me up too.
13. Running is really good for my body and soul. I walked the mile when I was in H.S. and considered myself athletically challenged. Once I could run farther than a block, the whole world opened up to me. The body can be trained!!! Limits can be expanded!!! This was a life changing realization for me.
14. Gardening has become my escape. When I need to unwind I simply let the family know I need to do some work in the garden and I go out and get my hands dirty. I have dripped sweat and blood in my kitchen garden and I'm starting to reap the benefits. Year-round flowers and veggies and peace.
15. I give up too easily. I like things to come easily to me. If I hit a roadblock or don't know how to do something, I get depressed about it and seldom persevere without encouragement.
16. I didn't tell Chalko I was a virgin the first time we had sex.
17. Making out and kissing other girls is out of this world, going farther than that makes me feel like a rookie. All hail men who have oral and philangeal talents.
18. My hero is my Dad who keeps striving and growing and improving himself. He spends lots of money to get his kids together every year for a family vacation. He never pretends to be a perfect Dad, but in his flaws I have found the best intentions.
19. My greatest fears - To stop growing, learning and producing good things. To be a burden to my family when I'm old and in diapers. To be in a hospital bed in a coma with noone plucking my chin hairs or eyebrows. (That one's a joke..........kinda)
20. I've already bragged about getting married in Yosemite. The morning after Chalko and I got married, I snuck out of bed before he got up and I smoked a bowl all by myself. I watched the sun begin to cut through the fog in the valley floor and I prayed for us. Then I climbed back into bed and pretended I just woke up.

"What would you say is the cruelest sting exactly?"
First...I don't like to share much about me. Some things are better left unspoken and move on to a better place within myself to find inner peace...but fuck...the "sting" will always stay.
But I will share with you Sweety since you ask... I love him with all I got...but that love wasn't returned. I'm a woman That is bound to have falling in love only once...if this love was not successful...there will never be nothing else left for me but to only love me. Yes I'm very existentual...it's in my nature. For the most part...I see things Black or White. Things in between are mostly bullshit.
Wow...is this too staright foward for you? Just how I vibe...
Thanks for asking
