OMFGGGG YOU GUYS!!!!!
I woke up to see that my latest set hit 2k likes overnight! I'm so thrilled about this, ya'll.. this is the quickest any of my sets have ever reached 2000+; it only took 5 days! I am incredibly pleased that ya'll love it and am so proud of this set.
This was shot at the New Orleans shootfest in 2018 by @caustix (who killed it, as usual). I was so excited and nervous to get to work with him! He is definitely in my top favorite photographers for SG.
Rewind to January 2018: my knee injury. I had a hairline fracture in my knee and was stuck on a couch for 2 months. Rewind a little further to the previous year around the time of the Austin Shootfest.. i was terribly ill and lost about 20 lbs and all of my muscle mass (at that time I was doing yoga regularly, but was recovering from an ED). After going down in weight so extremely and then right back up and then some after my injury had me feeling really insecure and uncomfortable in my own skin.
My first shootfest after my injury was in Denver (literally 3 days earlier I was cleared to walk) and while I love the set I shot there, I did feel so uncomfortable in my body.

Wtffff,, I don't even remember what the hell I was saying (typing?).. I'm just.. speechless right now.. thank you, fucking thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without everyone of you! After 6 years and 11 sets, I've finally achieved my biggest dream since I was a little 15 year old trying to find herself.
I'm really just,, at a loss for words, holy fuck 😂ðŸ˜ðŸ¤©
