I bought this album in November of last year and I've been listening to it constantly since then. As much as I love the Oblivians and the Compulsive Gamblers, I think Greg Cartwright's strongest most realized work has been his work with the Reigning Sound. It's a more mature pop sound yet retains the raunchy garage guitars of his older bands.
I honestly think everyone should go out and buy a copy of Too Much Guitar and if you don't like it, well then feel free to hit me as hard as you can
