I recently found out that there are classes taught locally to me. I'd love to try out and work it into my workout regime. (Which at the moment just consists of gym and pilates)
Would any of you recommend it? I personally would love to learn some sort of self defence, always have. Then I can defend myself if my boyfriend decides to torture me with tickles again. 😜

I would also recomend it, it's good workout and you learn to protect yourself against most closeup threaths... and it's amazing how easy it's to turn an attacker's weapon against himself :-)

@ecks980 I would not really consider boxing as self defence at all, yes nice to beat somebody up... but how would it help you against a knife or a gun to the head? Krav Maga teach you to use the moment of surprise and disable an attacker.
