Today my boyfriend and I went to the London Anime and Gaming Con. Probably one of the smallest cons I've been to but not without its charm. The place was full and there were lots of cosplayers.
When we first arrived I was taken outside to the garden area and I had an interview with one of the organisers for one of her own websites. I was so nervous. I always think I sound like a complete goon on camera.
We then explored the con. Despite the size, there seemed to be a lot going on which was really cool to see. I sat in on a couple of talks about Cosplay Modelling and competitions. Picked up a few helpful tips, and could definitely relate to a few others.
We got a couple souvenirs consisting of Pokemon plushies and some Green Tea Pocky. We left and grabbed a TGI's, which resulted in a mutual agreement that we won't eat there again. It's kinda gross.
Forbidden Planet was our last stop. I was on the hunt for an Alien Facehugger plushie, for a cosplay ;) but unfortunately they didn't have any D: I grabbed a Judge Dredd book and also went and found myself in the Body Art section. I always find it really freaking cool that I'm featured in the Suicide Girls books "Hard Girls, Soft Light" AND "Geekology" and that I can find both of them in one of my favourite stores.
Anyway. I'm back home now, exhausted and my leg hurts (my foot and leg has been having random, sometimes painful, twitches for the past 6 days now.)
