My birthday was largely uneventful, I went downtown and went shopping with a girlfriend. I bought some lingerie, strobe cream (a kiss for anyone who can tell me what that is), some eye shadow, and..uh, that's it! After that, I came home, got into a huge fight with my boyfriend which is still going on, went for dinner with my mom where I sat through about an hour of her passive agressive bullshit, and munched on a chicken salad. It wasn't half bad, but the service kind of sucked. After that, to a girlfriend's house where I tried to fix her computer. Fun times..that was me ushering in the second decade of my life..not a single present to unwrap. My dad didn't even call me to wish me happy birthday from India..this only futher proves my theory that he is simply a sperm donor who also happens to give me money when he feels I am worthy of it.
This week I feel so busy and crammed. I just wanted this to be a relaxing week before I found another job, but it doesn't feel like that's going to happen. Tommorow I have to hang out with my cousin, get fitted for my sari for a wedding in July, and designated drive a bunch of my girlfriends to a club. Wednesday I'm going to "Pizza Day" in my Mom's kindgarten classroom to volunteer. Thursday is free (so far) and then Friday, another cousin of mine comes down from Kelowna to stay with me overnight. On Saturday we're going to see a different cousin's baby (he's basically my nephew) and having dinner.
whew, I get tired thinking about it.
What about you guys, anyone got anythign exciting going on this week? I don't know if I'm going to go to the SG event on the 3rd..I'm thinking about it. I'm going to the burlesque show with a girlfriend, anyone going to that in the Lower Mainland?
