So you've heard that a couple of Kids are torching Paris down, right?
No matter as lon as Marseille doesn't march the Republic is safe.
Anyways Marseille had had it's own more civil chaos recently, This week, for the first time in over a month we have public transport, and that's only because the strike that had all but eliminated Buses and Metro was declared illegal, so they are just going to start a new one next week.
On top of it all they are striking over a completely bogus reason to begin with, the possible privatization of not yet finished Tramway. Definately warrants killing the public transport of an 800.000 people city.
Then again, hitch hiking to University actually usually was faster then the buses (did I ever mention that the bus system here sucks?), so no big loss.
People like to strike here, a month ago you might have heard about a militant trade union hijacking a ferry, and apparently at some point during my trip security guards of the big supermarkets went on strike so people were just walking in and out of the stores grabbing stuff.
Le sigh... these French....

Interpretations are often sad: "I do not really understand this mathematical framework or its inherent meaning. Therefore (eeeeergo), I will make one up and sell it! "
