I finally have some down time. Between work and going to Montana to see my family, and C, and drive test, and more work and sleeping..... Well I have been way too fucking busy.

I miss all of you so terribly much. I hope everything is going well for everyone. I should go on a blog stalking spree so I can see what I've been missing.

So the trip to Montana rocked. The bus rides were not all that terrible, though I am a person that can't sit still for any length of time (5 minutes is pushing it) so being on a bus for 17 hours.... not so much a good time. I'm sure I annoyed the person next to me with how much i moved around.

The first thing out of my youngest sister's mouth (when I went to give her a hug) was "I'm really sweaty, omg you're so short"

It was a bit weird at first to be around my family again, but I had such a good time. My younger sisters and I acted silly, and my mom got a chance to take care of me like she used to, because I ended up getting food poisoning.

I also got hit on a bunch while out there.... which was weird, to say the least.
I got a bit of sun, so I'm not quite as pasty and glow-in-the-dark as I was before.
And... I got my tragus pierced. It was so exciting!


Lets see.... oh going to my sister's ultrasound appointment gave me baby fever.... not so much a good thing, since I AM NOT ready for kids, just not a point in my life where it would be a good decision....


When I got back from Montana, I spent a day with C and then it was back to work for me, where I found out two people had quit and at least two more plan on it. Work has been really busy and not so much fun. On top of that I've not been getting enough sleep because if I wasn't working I was practicing for my drive test, which I passed


The drive test was actually pretty much. The roommate (Jess) and I got there super early, and ended up "tailing" the instructor on a couple tests, so we could learn the route and practice on it. The test took like ten minutes.... crazy simple.
So I am now a licensed driver
Hopefully it will now be easier to go and see my love Cadavre


So last night at work I was much more of a clutz than usual...
I burned my finger on the oven, then burned my wrist on the heat lamp in the hot case... which is about the size of a nickel and blistered.... hurts like hell, but it's in a spot where every time I look at it it makes me feel like I'm checking a watch, which kinda amuses me.

I think this is pretty much all that's been going on in my life... I've been pretty boring.... Way too busy to really go out and do anything fun.

I have this whole weekend off and am spending it with C. I just wish he didn't have to work either.... I've spent today sitting in a hotel room, reading and watching tv and listening to music. Took a bath. Went for a walk and got coffee and shopped at the Salvation Army. Got a new pair of work pants, a pair of yoga pants, and a t shirt for a total of $2.50.... I think that is quite a score.


Oh, something VERY exciting (to me anyway) :
C made me dinner the other night. Homemade beef soup.
Why is this exciting?
No one I've ever dated before has cooked me a meal.

So I thought it was really sweet
