This is a blog assignment from @missy and I'm happy to be able to share.
10 random facts about me:
1. I am mildly sensory defensive. Basically that means that I'm over-sensitive to specific textures and tactile situations. More so than most. I suppose it's harder to explain that I thought it would be. Most people really dislike the sound of nails on a chalkboard and their bodies react with shivers, icky feelings and cringes. I feel like that towards a ridiculous amount of things and have since birth. I suppose I've grown to put up with specific textures and feelings that are extremely hard to avoid like wearing socks or the feeling of the waist band on pants. But I still do tend to avoid things like creamy food textures, anything slimy, dry skin, nail files, sand paper of any grade, chalk, sand/dust on my skin, corrugated cardboard, dry clay, flannel sheets and the list goes on and on and on. Even trying to type about this now is making me uncomfortable - so lets move on, shall we?
2. I have 4 nipples. Sort of like a cat. (told you i'm a kitty.) But seriously, I have 2 "normal" nipples on my breasts and then 2 "accessory" or "supernumerary" nipples located along the "milk line" of my tummy. They are very small, they don't produce milk, nor to they get hard or react to stimulation. They're just there.
3. I am a feminist. I crave equality right down to my core.
4. I fell of someone's shoulders when I was 5 years old. I face-planted so hard onto the curb that I scraped up half of my face. There was a scab on the corner of my mouth that made it impossible to open my mouth wide enough to eat for a few days so I lived off of soup. It was also the weekend before halloween and when I arrived to school dressed in my princess costume, my teacher asked if I was supposed to be a clown. What a bitch.
5. I have an obsession with tiny homes. I aspire to own and live in one some day. swoon.
6. The farthest I've ever been from my home is Disneyland and that's only 2000 miles. I want to travel more. I also REALLY want to go to Disneyland again.
7. I have been a vegetarian for 11 years.
8. I failed my driving test twice before I passed and got my license. On my second road test, I did everything perfectly. I obeyed all the rules and laws up until the last 30 seconds. I saw the DMV and got so excited that I had completed the test that I ran the last stop sign on the route.
9. I am left handed. for everything.
10. If I were a boy, my parents were going to name me Lars.
So, I went to the Vancouver Blackheart Burlesque show!
It was AMAZING. The girls were so talented and I might even go as far as to say that this show was better than the show I saw last year in Seattle. :o <3
