okay, so either I've lost my mind or i'm doing something incredibly wrong in order to post a blog full of pictures for you guys and gals. fuck.
i'll try again really soon, i swear! but for now, i can fill you in verbally... boring. :p
Today is day two of absolutely no kidney/relating pains! I'm SO happy to finally feel what it's like to not have to focus on the pain. It's amazing. My lithotripsy procedure went well (obviously.) and now just waiting for a follow up x-ray to check it all out.
I've been crafting again lately. Mostly just messing around with polymer clay, collaging and painting. I'm going to work towards needlepoint and cross stitching once I finish up my current project. I really love creating things.
I'm an auntie for the second time thanks to my man's sister. She just had a brand new baby boy - even though he was supposed to be a girl (according to the ultrasound) he's still precious and perfect in pink. :)
I'm thinking of cutting my hair. not all off, but about chin length. I'd love to have a cute black bob. We'll see. What do you think?
My man and I have been watching quite a few documentaries lately, is there anything you lovely humans could recommend for us to check out? We typically don't go for crazy conspiracy theories but if there's something you found interesting, please share. :)
The holiday season is starting now and I'm very unsure of how I want to celebrate this year. As many of you may know, I'm very far from Christian but my entire family celebrates Christmas. Every year I participate in setting up a tree, baking holiday treats, exchanging gifts and enjoying time with my family. When I do these things, i enjoy them but I often feel like I don't belong or that I'm just celebrating because it's what is expected. In years past, I have tried to stay away from all things "Christmas" but it's really difficult when I'm unsure why I'm trying to stay away. I suppose this doesn't make all that much sense. I guess I'm just wondering what you guys do for holiday traditions that aren't based on religion, but based on love and family. I'm interested in hearing about the different things that you do!
I suppose that's it.
I hope everyone is well and happy!
