uh oh, these are starting to thin out a bit... i suppose i deserve a slight break after all the time i spend on here, but then again what else would i do with all of my time... lol.
i think the main problem is that there is nothing of interest to note in my life at the moment. i've been busy doing just about everything (except trying to find a job, which i need to do). this past weekend i picked up stuff to help winterize my cottage and installed a new storm door for my front porch. today i went and picked up x-men 3. i didn't see it in the theaters because everyone told me not to bother and they were pretty much right. i can't believe what they did to the x-men universe just because it was the end of their stupid movie "trilogy." as if that give them sort of artistic license to hack up one of my favorite comics of all time and turn everything upside down. if it had just been a simple "action" movie that was written and conceived with no connection to anything at all it probably would have been an ok movie, but as it stands... shame on you 20th century fox for tampering with a well established icon for your own personal gain. anyway, enough of the rant.
this weekend i'm heading out to oneonta, ny. my alma mater, hartwick college, is there and they are having their yearly "homecoming/reunion weekend" events. i figure i haven't been there in years (not even for my own reunion) so maybe i should swing down and see if anyone i know shows up... lol. plus, it's something to get me out of here for a weekend. i need a little change. course then next week i'm off to buffalo for SGB and then a few days later off to toronto for another dose of SGB... so i suppose i'll get a little more than just a "little" change.
oh, and right now i'm only awake because i started washing my sheets and since i don't have any spare sheets i have to stay up until the damn things are dry. why do i do stupid things like that? i'm getting tired, but i'll probably have to wait at least another half hour before everything is dry... lol. has anyone else ever done something like this before? for some reason i tend to do it all the time.

But that's why I love you
