ok, so i went back to the eye doctor today... the first trial pair of contacts i got were too tight... so we tried another pair... they too, did not work. so they had to special order some trial pairs in for me... the first kind they didn't carry in my prescription, but the other 2 kinds they did. i picked both of those up about a week and a half ago and have been trying them out since then. one pair bugs my eyes, the other seems ok. however, when i go in today the optometrist tells me that both of them are still too tight on my cornea and that they aren't allowing the proper amount of oxygen and tears to get underneath them. so... long story short... there are NO contacts out there that properly fit me... we have exhausted all options. i could get expensive specially fitted ones, but my prescription is so minimal it would be pointless and cost me money i don't need to be spending. the doctor did tell me that i can still wear the contacts that felt ok in my eyes, but that i can't wear them all day, everyday. cuz it could cause eye troubles... like infections and shit... yuck!
anyway, apparently i am in the 10% of the population that contacts don't really work for because they don't bother to make contacts that will fit us... this is because the contact companies don't care and can survive off of the income they make off of the other 90% of the population... stupid corporation mentality!
in other news i will be moving back to NY and hopefully right into my new place in about 10 days!!!!

I'm not really up on my Transformers lore, so thanks for the info. I've tried watching some of the new incarnations of the show, but nothing will ever beat the original.
Glad to hear that you will be at the new place soon. Well done!
