Played bass for this long and was never really aware that bass strings collect dirt n such inside them and dull out. kinda debating wether I should bother doing anything like buying $50 coated strings to replace using Fast Fret. More likely I'll get more of that shit n keep playing.. oooor maybe get some flat wound strings just to see what new strings would...
