So here we are again it's 1:30 in the morning and Cenerentola is WIDE awake. for the last three nights I've bee up until at least 3:45 and have resorted to scuplting, baking and painting. It's so totally my creative side slapping me in the face saying "Bitch you haven't been in a show since last summer and you haven't been writing or creating, what is fucking wrong with you?" I have an idea for a screenplay that has been marinating (I love using that word) for quite a while. I thought of it in the shower (which is where I get most of my brilliant ideas). There hasn't been a movie with one of those "Holy crap" shower scenes (besides the naughty kind) in quite a while. One just formed in my head a couple weeks ago when I was conditioning my poor hair. A story just kinda took shape around it and I really want to write it. Problem is, I had a paper on Roy Cohn due four weeks ago and I haven't written that yet, and in two weeks I have a biography of Janis Joplin due...ah, procrastination. I wish I could get a degree in that, strangely enough, I'd already be finished.
I have decided not to jump up on the Bitch Box about Opening Day. Neither pitchers did anything fabu and I'm not going to let anything shake me up. It was one game, the first game, so whatever. I am SO looking forward to seeing Fever Pitch though! Drew Barrymore, ah my first love before I found Angelina ::sigh:: Drew and the Sox at the same time, I will be one very happy bunny.
I haven't seen my little nephew in so long. He's going to be three in July and it has been a good...four months since I saw him. My best friend Lisa (who I lost my cherry to, coincidentally) has been working soooo much (she's a CNA which is essentially a old person asswiper) and she hasn't had the time to bring him by. She actually showed up at my door last week and we went shopping probably for the first time since she got pregnant. Neither of us could recall a time in between. She's so skinny which worries me a whole lot. She was always trim, she worked out a lot and did a lot of running when we were younger. Now she's just...well, a size 3 is baggy on her. She used to make me laugh when she was pregnant because it was the first time in her life that she filled out a bra. She always used to tell me how jealous she was of my ladies (Tim calls them "Lorraine and Rhonda") but as soon as she had them, she wanted them gone. She'd probably have some if she weren't so damn skinny. Then again, she'd have more money to buy food if her good-for-nothing ex-husband would provide for his son. Well, some men just suck I guess, what else is there to say?
I think I'll go pop a DVD in...I watched the Labyrinth twice last night, maybe I'll make it an I, Claudius night, or maybe Noises Off...
