Alright so there's been this blog post going around about being a tour guide to your own city and I love! That idea... Also this is NOT that blog. I want to try and steal a friend's GoPro and literally tour you people through Montreal, but it's not looking like the damned thing is working. Back up plan? I'm glad you asked disembodied voice that sounds not at all suspiciously like me... I'm going to talk about nothing... Or as close to nothing as I can get.
Honestly guys, I don't know what a guilty pleasure is. The only reason that I can't classify myself as a hedonist is because I just don't think life is the most important pursuit in life, but I'm a damned fine believer of whatever floats your boat.
I love your stereotypical "Slay the necromancer and save the village" fantasy books, I enjoy the occasional sappy romance movie, and I read the damned news every morning (interestingly enough to see if there's a juicy story, not to keep up on current events).
The only thing I can think of as my guilty pleasure is my favorite beverage (yes yes, queue the Canadian jokes. chuckle it up Hoser), Beer.
I love all kinds of beer. I have my Winter and Summer beer, my Ales, crisp lagers. Dear sweet bloody hell if beer wasn't the #1 cause for the fact that I really need to start working out. By all means my favorite beer is a brand called Innis & Gunn. I adore this brand so much because a large variety of their beers they have are kept in rum, sherry, and whiskey casks, which means MOAR FLAVOR!
Personal favorites are:
Winter: Guiness, Smithwick's, Rickard's Oakhouse, Kilkenny, and most beers out of Creemore Springs.
Summer: Sapporo, kronenbourg 1664, Toubourg, Bavaria.... So many.
As it stands my hope one day will be to start a home brew process. I'm currently trying to regulate the temperature in my apartment to something a little more stable and gather the funds to get all the equipment. Hopefully it'll happen one day!
