So...
I'm off work today because I took a half-centimeter square piece of my finger off at work last night. I have to go in and get a tetnus shot. Ugh. Last one I had was in grade school and I'm still smarting at the memory.
Life..... Hmmm....
Well, sucks to be in the south right now. I'm lucky enough that all my friends and family got out in time. Dude I used to blow was on tour at the time and rode the storm out in his bus with his bandmates. Former roadtrip buddy left before the storm hit and is now... somewhere... Cellphones still don't work so great. I'm going down there to help with the rebuilding once everything living is taken care of. I was gonna go and help people, but after freaking out over myself bleeding (well, it DID bleed for 4 hours in my defense), I decided that I'm not so great with people and trauma.
I finally got some time in the studio for myself. Andres DeJesus is the most awesome photographer here in Chicago. At least, the most awesome one I know of. I'm sure there's gotta be someone else awesomer... Naw, they all go to our Art Institute then high-tail it out. Pussies.
We had a good time... See?
I've decided that Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance is my style soul mate.
(Ignore that horrible blonde patch at the crown of his head... I'm sure he regrets it as much as I hate looking at it)
My stepdad laughs and makes fun of me because he comes across photos of this cat that look just like me. I dunno who's stealing whose style. (ya like that proper grammar, english geeks?). Like he and I are just a few months apart on the fashion thing. I'm a bit ahead on a few things, he's a bit ahead on others. I think we're tapping into the same trend cycle. Dude Armstrong from Green Day is in on it too. You all should get in on it. Seriously, everything I do becomes popular in about 6 months. Fauxhawk? Did it at the 2002 Midwest Show and now everyone and their fucking uncle are wearing it. Dress shirts and pinstripes? Well, I had that covered back in grade school. Got my ass kicked for it too. Yeah, I bet you all wish you were me now huh?
Well, I gotta stop putting off the going to urgent care thing. Pray for my arm. It doesn't like needles. Ugh....

Hope your finger's doing better.
