My loverly SG buddies... I'm looking for a new technical assistant for my professional photography ventures.
Duties would include...
Carrying stuff to set
Setting up backgrounds/sets
Assembling equipment properly
Taking light readings
General "gofering"
Keeping cameras loaded and clean
Assuring I have the proper equipment in my hands when I need it
All mess of other stuff
Due to the nature and hours of jobs, you will need to be over 18.
Though I give concideration to all levels of education, EXPERIENCE is a must! If I say "get a flash on that Olympus" you better hand it to me with the proper flash, the proper settings, and a smile.
Keep in mind, working with me is not for the thin skinned. When I check off duties, I do not say "please" (it's a job, not a favour.). A usual command would go something like a rather terse "set up those lights" while I retire to the other room to prepare a model. I also do not tolerate incompetence. If you say you know how to meter and it's done incorrectly, I have no qualms about berating you and sending you away with no pay.
I also DEMAND manners and civility. If you're a dude, you WILL act like a perfect gentleman at all times a model is on set. If you're a chick, you don't get a break either.
If you think you can fit these roles and you desire chances at international (yes, I submit to overseas publications) fame, please contact me ASAP.
Also feel free to tell your non SG friends and companions. I dont' care where they come from as long as they're good.
