Aaaannnnd here's CELLULOID!
Good day all.
I sometimes wonder about the interweb. I wonder why people take it so damn seriously.
Especially this site.
I understand that it is a community - but it is an INTERNET community.
I know something about communities. I've been in good ones and in bad ones.
I've had to go to school every day and sit right beside the people that assaulted me the week before. I've had to sing choir duets with girls that called me "slut" and told other various lies about me. I've had to have my academic fate hang in the hands of assholes that didn't like me because of my political views.
And there was nothing I could do about it.
That is why I love internet communities.
If someone says something that I don't like, I can hit "DELETE".
If theres a photo I don't particularly like, I can just scroll down.
If someone's being a total fuckface, I can give a moderator a heads-up about it.
And, if none of that works, I can hit the power button and remind myself that life exists outside the 25 inches of this monitor.
That is why I get so
whenever I see people all like "Goodbye everyone, this is just too hard on me, drama drama drama blah blah blah".
And I'm sad to see it happen so often on SG.
This is supposed to be a community of strong, fuck-the-world women and those that like to look at the tits of strong, fuck-the-world women.
So why the drama, y'all?
Oddly enough, I see this dramatic leaving the community thing happen most often when girlies don't get to fulfill their "dream" of being a Suicide Girl.
Shit, ladies, if you can't fuckin put up with rude comments you shouldn't have your tits on the internet anyway!
Yes, I have left an internet community before. It was because I feared my privacy being invaded because of the choices of other members of the community. None of the members that were supposedly my "friends" (and I use the term loosely - how can you have a friend you've never met) backed me up and really just left me hanging there despite the fact I constantly fought battles for them.
However, I did it quietly without drama.
I simply e-mailed the owner of the community and asked that my account and all my previous posts be deleted.
There was none of that "Nobody loves me here so I'm leaving" bullshit followed up by everyone saying "NO DONT LEAVE WE LOVE YOU" bullshit followed up by that "okay, I guess I am appreciated so I'm back" bullshit.
I have never been back to that community since.
But the ones that followed me into my "real" life are totally my BFF's!
LYLAS! LYLAB!
So, please, no fucking drama.
If you need to, stay away from SG when you're raggin... Because that's the only reason I can see for bullshit like this.
