... I had a fun weekend... but now I have to study for a fucking math test...
I went to the Castro Theater with my room-mate on Friday night to watch a triple feature. "Love Kills...90's Edition." It was so much fucking fun! My room-mate and I got dressed up and went to the local liquor store to get some vodka to put us in the mood. We saw True Romance, Natural Born Killers and The Doom Generation.
I started getting drunk during True Romance (which is fucking hilarious. Gary Oldman is fucking awesome and I was dressed up as Alabama, which many people in the theater noticed)
and was fucked up by the time Natural Born Killers came on.
I thought my head was going explode, and I have a feeling I was yelling during The Doom Generation (an over-sexed, crazy, violent b-movie starring Rose McGowan and Parker Posey.)
I forgot some of the things that happened, but it was fun and all three films are great in there own way. Oh and during the films people were cheering, laughing out loud, yelling, booing and whistling and shouting during all the sex and nude scenes
... It was so much fun it was like we were a part of the movie in a sense. And they were showing crazy fucking trailers from the 90's. Most of the trailers were David Lynch films but my favorite trailer was definitely Gus Van Sant's Drugstore Cowboy... Since its 2009, lately Im feeling really nostalgic towards the nineties, especially cinema in the 90's...I think it's because of my room-mate?
Really Im lucky to have the room-mate I have. Tiana is a cinema major and seriously I thought I watched obscure cinema, my room-mate has a fucking insane collection of films, mainstream and indie. She's the only person I know from SFSU that's down for getting shit-faced from vodka while watching obscure, crazy, violent films for 7 hours straight.
Yeah I had a great time. It was my first time being at the Castro Theater.
Its such a beautiful place and the event was so much fun. The movies were great and the audience made the night a lot more interesting.
I cant wait for next weekend when James Franco comes.
And now...math homework ...after I masturbate

I love film. Last film watched was "Gummo," which I hated but I'm glad I sat through the whole thing. Now, I'm watching the DVD of the canceled show "Freaks and Geeks." It's really good and I'm surprised it got canceled after only one season.
Funny, I couldn't finish "True Romance" because I got so into his Dad and just had to turn it off before he got killed. I seriously couldn't watch him get killed. Maybe it's because I'm a Dad myself and yes, I'd die for my son or to hide his whereabouts, so maybe I got too personal with that. Plus,he was such a cool character.
NBK - in my top 20 or 30 of all-time.
Love Lynch, but I guess they only played trailers. And I think McGowan is SEXY.
Glad you had a good time, and a cool roommie.
