I need advice.
Now that we've amicably agreed that separating and moving apart would be the right thing to do, you'd think the next 2.5 months we have left in this household would be a bit more calm and that he'd shape up.
But no. He went to work tonight, promising no funny stuff. I'm talking anything that he'd normally do, like going to his whore's house after work, staying out all night talking to his coworkers after close and not letting me know (common courtesy, I say), or coming home wasted. I thought I had covered all the bases, but obviously, he doesn't give a rats ass. I awoke 20 minutes ago to familiar giggling outside. I looked out the bedroom window at the side door stoop, and saw the fucking idiot, held up by a coworker, who was saying "Get out your keys", with only drunken giggling as the response.
WHAT IN THE FLIPPING FUCK?!?!?!
I grabbed whatever pants I found on the floor to put on, opened the door, let the drunk ass inside, gave a less than enthusiastic thank-you to the co-worker (who obviously knew the wrath of me was about to commence), and I started laying into him.
WHY DID I WIN THE LOTTERY OF FUCKING RETARDED ASSHOLES WHO CAN'T BE SOBER TO SAVE HIS FRICKIN LIFE????????????????
So after 10 minutes of asking why, and giving him hell, I figured there was no point. It's not like he's going to remember. And that brings me here, to SG Land. I don't know what to do. I can't handle another 2.5 months of this, but I can't "kick him out". Isn't there SOMETHING I can do to protect my child from this drunk? I let it go long enough and, sure as shit, the day I make a responsible decision to get out of this situation, he pulls the same old bullshit! I'm SO TIRED OF THIS! PLLLEEEEASE someone give me a solution? I want to be rid of this drunken burden!
We have a shitload of company coming this weekend, and I can't handle putting on a face for everyone. My parents already know what a drunk asshole he is, and were really pleased when I called them and told them I had come up with an almost-solid plan and even a roommate to help make it happen.
I do have one thing going for me. His mother is coming on Saturday. She knows her sons are big drinkers, but I doubt she knows what kind of abuse we go through for him to live that lifestyle. She's never been very receptive to my concerns, but I was hoping by sitting her down and telling her that this charade will be soon over, that maybe she'd listen to reason. The guy is 24 years old, way past the age where he's listen to his damn mother. And my relationship with his parents has never been horribly stable (many reasons; they didn't approve of my keeping our baby, and they also don't like our family because my legal age brother dated my dude's freshman-in-high-school sister and they got caught in a bad way....no more details necessary there).
I just don't know what to do. Isn't there something I can do legally to prevent him from coming to this house in that state? I'm sure there's no "restraining order against drunkards" in this state, but Christ - give me SOMETHING, people! I'll take any advice, if it'll rid me of this. I want him out, but I can't afford a $900 house by myself tilthe potential move happens in September. (The potential roommate is on a lease til 9/1, so I can't move before her and wait for her)
I'm tired and hopeless and miserable.
Shed some light on this, anybody. I'm all ears.
