So, I did end up getting art last weekend at that sale, and I must share.



This painting is HUGE. Goes well with both my wine themed kitchen and my music themed living room, but it ended up in the kitchen.

And then I caught wind that this same starving artist group was having ANOTHER sale this past weekend! Hurray for me, I left the little one with daddy and went out and got me some more pretty art....

This one is sofa sized and I put it above - you guessed it - the sofa.


And this one is just a little 8x10, I'm going to get a frame for it and put it near or on the piano.


So yeah. Me and my art. Hoo-rah.

Classes start at the U again tomorrow, which sucks because now I won't have the significant other around to relieve me of the toddler screaming headache all damn day. Boo. Kiddo goes back to day care after a few weeks when I work Thursday and Friday, hopefully that won't be a hassle... contemplating a trip to Wisconsin Friday night - Wren's father passed away Thursday and I'm trying to work out getting to the funeral, but having to tote the kid with me makes it tough. AND my parents are leaving on vacation Thursday, so I lost all hope for getting someone to babysit for the day. DAMMIT. This sucks.

But anyway, go throw a kind word Wren's way, she needs ♥.


Um, wow, somehow I missed the fact that there is a new inch of snow on the ground, since the last time I looked out the window. WTF.
