I've just committed a cock-up of almighty proportions.
Poised to buy my Sensation White Tickets I go to the website at 10pm (Dutch Time) ready for the opening as I did last year and see "Sold Out!!" which is a bit odd . Turns out they decided to open it at 10 am and the whole lot (40,000) went in two hours so I'm fucked.
I'm devastated but resigned to it. Tickets are appearing on eBay at 2.5 times the face value already. I'm not risking it as there are forgeries around and the gates are computerised so not worth it.
I have a three-day wekend at least so tomorrow we're off to Norwich for a day-trip. The preceding week at work was one of the toughest I've had for a long-while with new recruits on the team clashing handbags with some of the incumbents and guess who's in the middle? I sorted it all out and managed to finally get on top of a delivery that had me reeling earlier in the week so all was well as it ended well this time.
Knit-wise I finished another womb this time for Qwerty and ploughed on with the Twining Vine cardy. The coursework is now in a folder but not ready for submission save for a couple of weeks worth of effort. Easter is the next deadline for me on that. I bought a few bits to experiment with so the first time I've stared to dabble with my own ideas. I'm making up the poodle I knitted last year lest I go mad for looking at the box of bits day after day.
The weather was gorgeous yesterday and Colchester was a pleasant afternoon out followed a fish supper in the evening and then the ticket disaster thereafter. We've come full circle.

I seem to be one of those people who just kind of scrape passes all the time. tis rubbish.
Yeah, I am looking but it seems hard because I've had some big gaps in my employment where I've been focusing on college. I wanted to leave college but I'd rather have the degree I've only got a year left.
