I hope you all have been doing wonderfully. I got back from a week vacation in a cabin with friends in South Dakota. The drive from where I live to there sucked 10 hours not including stops. Before we set out we had to supply up. If your road trips don't look like a 10 year old with 100 bucks of snacks you are doing it wrong.
This wasn't just for me I had a few friends riding with me. The cabin itself was awesome! It was up in the black hill mountains
We went and saw crazy horse a giant carving on a mountain once completed it will be the largest mountain carving in the world I think is what they said. Long way to go but was cool to see.
And on the same day we also stopped to see Mount Rushmore. We didn't mean to do multiple big things in a single day however since most of it was outside weather played a big role in what we could do.
Not sure what happened with my contact but my eye was hurting all day so had to let someone else drive my jeep back to the cabin which gave me an opportunity to get a few scenery pics.
The following day we had to take another activity we wanted to do and go sooner because of major rains storms coming in. We went to a cave/mine called Wonderland Caves. It was very cool but a few choose not to go because of the tight space. Since the cave was off the beaten path it was also the first time my jeep jeeped sort of
Now into the cave.
The very blue rock i saw at the gift shop and i don't know why but it spoke to me and I had to purchase it for my desk. Later that day we went and saw The Flash. A decent movie but I was exhausted so couldn't fully enjoy it. The following day I was tired and my eye still hurt from the day prior because I think I scratched my eye with my contact so I was wearing my glasses. They decided to go to devils tower and I choose to stay at the cabin because every place we went was over an hour away and I was sick of being in the car.
This was my view while they were gone and I was at peace. Played diablo 4 since I took my xbox in case we wanted to play any Jackbox games. We never did but that's ok. The last day before we left we all stayed at the cabin since it was raining heavily. We played board games and did a painting activity.
This was mine and I suck at painting but was proud of this. Glad to be home since I missed my pup Zoey. I wasn't able to workout during the trip which is ok but I got right back into it yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
