Played hookie from work today. The weather here was just too nice to spend it indoors. Called a friend of mine and convinced him to call in so we could take the bikes out for a ride. 250 miles later I am back home, sucking down a cold beer and chilling out. I should skip work more often.

Ahhhh, done and done!

I got it! Using my original plan from yesterday, plus some stuff that I thought of tonight, I was able to fix my chain.

IMPROVISE.
ADAPT.
OVERCOME.

Now if it just wasn't so fucking cold. It's already down to about 50 degrees here, and the temperature will drop another 10 degrees tonight. Tomorrow, though, it's supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny, plus Action Man has the day off, so I predict we're going to go riding! Yayyy!

They have finally posted toi results of the April 7th drag race I entered. Looks I finished 11th in Street ET and 3rd in Super Street.

Hell of a good start for the year especially considering I finshed 30th last year.

I damn near cried yesterday. Blue skies, temp in the 70's, slight breeze out of the north and fresh VHT on the drag strip.

A 800 hp Porsche showed up, and promptly twisted an axle in half.

I made some good shake down runs, and worked on setting the bike up. I can't wait for the races to start!

you'll still see me at the track... I still love him. He still loves me. We just have a difference of opinion for the future... he doesnt want to get married or have a kid(s) and I desperately do. I'm not willing to be with someone thats against it... if he decides that he does want that then we'll re-negotiate

2007 is here, the racing season is about to start, and as usual I haven't got a damn thing done. The bike is half way back together, the trailer hasn't been touched, parts haven't arrived and the track opens this weekend. Faaaaak.

Wonder if I can push it down the track????
