You know you've hit a new low when your mom tries to set you up with someone she works with. And you know you've sunk even lower when you decide to take her up on her offer. Alright, I'm exaggerating slightly, but that's pretty much what's happening right now. My mom wants to introduce me to a girl named Christine. I don't really know much about this girl. All I know is that she likes going to shows and watching movies, both of which she often does alone. And because she's big (which is a good thing in my book), she doesn't have much luck with guys. So, just to humor my mom and to satisfy my own curiosity, I told her she can set up whatever it is she has planned. I imagine I'm probably going to have to make a phone call. If I'm lucky, an e-mail will suffice. It's both funny and sad that my loneliness is so bothersome to my mother (even moreso than it is to me at times, apparently) she wants to introduce me to someone with the hope of it working out. Although that wouldn't be too bad, I really don't see it happening. Just the whole name thing is enough to make it a lost cause. Chris and Christine...it's even too corny for me.
