so....
we have a rotation schedule for being out in sector.

we never follow that. some times it's 10 days in sector. sometimes it's 20. fucking getting old.
some more friends got hurt. that's a a bitch. and another friend's strive for a better looking stronger body destroyed his liver and got him sent home.

so. i go to this class on another post. it gets mortared lots. i dont sleep that well. but they did have french toast sticks at the chow hall. and there was a cinnabon by the px. i love cinnabon.

Costa Rica doesn't have much of a postal system either. No street or house number just, name of house, city, Costa Rica, and probably some number tacked onto the end. We want to build a house and name it "the Future". That way all our mail can be addressed to the future. Also, when visiting Atlanta and then leaving to go back home to CR we could say, "ok, it's time to go back to the future!" We joke about the mail man looking for a way to the future. haha

Your Sargent is only looking out for you. Most people have trouble consontrating and staying focus because their body is to busy being sick. He probally oes want to see anything happen to you or your men because of cold.
Hopefully you can shake this thing and get back in the field with your men. Im sure you spend most of the time you have been in bed worrying about them. That is why you are good leader. You put concern for you men before yourself.

I hope you get better soon.....

it sucks, I know. I spent three weeks as a radio watch after my ankle injury in Fallujah, but I wouldn't have been much help hobbling along, slowing people up.
