Turkey day was great. I got to see some family members I hadn't seen in about two years. I had a lot of time off from work so now I gotta jump back in the fire tomorrow. Boo Hoo!

Well, I'm already back. We didn't do anything at all. I got there yeasterday and got back today. It was a total waste of my time but at least it was easy money. Now I am going to get drunk tonight and blow off some steam.

It's back offshore for me. Just when I thought I'd get some time off, this shit happends. One of our guys became ill and needs to be replaced so who do they call? Who else but me? I have no idea how long I'll be gone. Hopefully not longer than a week.

I had a nice 4 day vacation. I got drunk on Friday and Saturday. It was the first time in about 6 weeks.

I have no more jobs for a couple of weeks at the least so I'll be around now. Yay! Finally some time to relax.

Now I was told another job is ready to go out tonight at three in the morning. I should be gone a week this time, not two! At least I hope so. We are so damn busy right now!...

I wound up not going to Houston after all because I got summoned to appear for jury duty. It sucked. I wasn't picked tho. They almost picked me but not quite. So far it's been a good week. No jobs have gone out and none will next week either. Working in the shop is nice for a change.

On Sunday I will be going to Houston for some training stuff. Should be gone until Thursday or Friday.

I don't think I'm gonna go to the Voodoo Fest. I don't like the bands playing.

I finally got off that rig. We were stranded out there for 4 extra days because of the tropical storm in the gulf. It was right on top of us! No helicopters could get in there to get us out.
