It looks great as always. She also got to cut Allison's hair today which garnered her a gig doing the do's for Allison & Josh's wedding in July. Faaaaaaaantastic! I'd been telling A. to go to her for about a year & finally convinced her today. I won't let anyone ANYONE else touch my mangy locks. She knows where every cowlick is & just how to cut it so they all lay the fuck down. She knows that the right side grows faster than the left & it curls out while the right curls in. She knows where my part is & that the little piece off to the side is the only part that curls on its own. So help me god, James better be coming to A. cos B. is a LONG way to drive for a haircut!

Interestingly enough, I met a guy yesterday who worked for Barnes & Noble... but I was at WORK - so I couldn't very well pick his mind about B&N on the BAM clock could I - argh.
I am rapidly learning that home improvement is sorta not my thing. Blind hanging & lock installation are a lot more complicated than I would have ever thought. & Most of the instructions and packaging are not very consumer friendly. Blahhhhhhhhh. I was bleeding before I got the damned plastic open!

Thank you! I strive for resiliency & flexibility. Smurf knows, if you don't bend, you break. I'm not breaking anytime soon. In fact I'm thinking of taking up yoga.
So, I have decided to go to an Indian drumming concert in Clemson the 26th. It's just after payday & I will probably need the distraction. Plus I haven't seen my friend Matt in about 6 years. So, this should be a welcome fun thing.

i understand scattered too . . . it's just such a ridiculous shock and abrupt change. i was only with my bf for 2 and a half years when he skipped out on me . . . so i can't imagine how much harder this must be for you.
i hope that you can grow from this and make a new whole for yourself . . . i hope you just get stronger from this and don't put up with relationships with this type of guy anymore.
my lesson was about not letting myself get walked on anymore, demanding honesty and communication, and expecting more give and take in my relationships . . . as opposed to just my natural desire to just give. yes, i still have scars from that experience but they don't take away from who i am . . . they add to who i am. i think you will be able to see some of the silver lining after some time too.
