I got a call from a woman at Foothills Alliance today. I had signed up as interested in training for volunteer counselling at a VDay event in Clemson. Eons ago it seems like. It was before all of this happened and it had completely flown from my mind. I haven't gotten the paperwork filled out, but it is here somewhere. She was calling to set up an interview (they require it and a background check before you can begin training). So I set that up on the 6th - Tuesday coming. I hope everything goes well & that I can swing the training with my work schedule; it begins on the 8th, I believe. All in all, I am pleased.
