I've been listening to a lot of Mellencamp this week.
Took the kids to Crater of Diamonds State Park last weekend. The one possible diamond we found, I dropped on the way to have the park ranger guy check it out for me
we had a good time anyway. The park is about 2 hours from LR and about half the drive is 2 lane "highway" through some of the smallest towns I've ever driven through. The population of one was only 394. It was a really cool drive and I got some great pictures.
Other than that, nothing much new with me. I've been "reorganizing" my priorities and am feeling a little more at peace because of it.

not around enought at al.
But, I do hope the absences are for th very best of reasons
The first day of school can be such a daunting time...what always used to help me was every year my mom would tell me..."everyone is in the same boat" and for some reason it would put my mind at ease to know that my fear was justified because others were feeling it too. There's comfort in numbers, I suppose. Sounds like the only thing the boy needs to worry about is filling up his little black book with numbers on the first day...
Yes, all kinds of eye candy...that is for certain. And you know how I am abou the uniforms...*swoon-worthy* indeed...he was adorable, with cute dimples. I was telling Teddy about him today, and I think he got a little jealous, that was funny...
You have a great morning, chica...drink up...gotta keep up with the boy...and I'll give you a call this afternoon.
