Typically on weekends, usually Saturday morning, I make pancakes and bacon. And everyweek the pancakes are a different color. This morning, I decided to try something different, I squeezed the juice of a blood orange into the pancake batter. I used two oranges and put some pulp in there too, gave the pancakes a nice little pinky tint. Somehow, in all this creativeness, I must have mismeasured the milk or didn't put in enough eggs because the batter was really thick. I couldn't pour the batter onto the griddle I had to scoop it, and the batter just plopped onto the griddle and didn't really move much. Anyway, they looked mighty funny, but they tasted pretty good.
Tomorrow I am going to look at a house. Not just any house, but my dream house, 3000 square feet of 150 year old victorian beauty. I'll let you all know how grand it is tomorrow after I look at it and you all can fight over who is going to buy it for me
