Yesterday I bought these boots. They are black and go up past my ankle. They are 3" heels. I looked like a baby antellope that just started walking this morning. Other fancy business women prancing from their cars to the door of our big fancy office building across the ice and snow without a care in the world. I was taking baby steps. I felt like I must have looked like one of those clubber girls that live in stilettos and have extensions ALL the time. Well..I guess trying new things every once in a while is what makes life interesting. Make you feel alive to turn down a street you've never gone down before, or try a new food, or wear high heel boots during a Montreal winter.
I had a very odd dream last night that I was driving a city bus. What was odd is that I was driving it around my parents' town (where I grew up) in the small suburban streets I was driving this big city bus over the ice and snow like it was a Jeep. I don't remember much else about the dream except that there were flowers all over the place inside the bus, and there were paying passengers that I had to pick up. When I got to the end of my route the bus driver got on and told me I had passed the test with flying colours. What does this dream mean? Is there something I'm going to have to attempt that I'm afraid of, but that it will turn out really well? Who knows. I'm just heaps busy at work and home right now, and have been neglecting to get any form of web work done. For both SG and myself. *bad me*
Thanks for all the compliments on my newest painting, it was a really fun one to paint.
I have to post these lyrics just because there aren't enough songs that have my name in them...makes me feel special
Andy, You're A Star
by: The Killers
On the field I remember you were incredible
Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah
On the field I remember you were incredible
Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah
On the match with the boys, you think you're all alone
With the pain that you drain from love
In a car with a girl, promise me she's not your world
Cause Andy, you're a star
Leave your number on the locker and I'll give you a call
Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah
Leave your legacy in gold on the plaques that line the hall
Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah
On the streets, such a sweet face jumping in town
In the staff when the verdict is in
In a car with a girl, promise me she's not your world
Cause Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes but mine
Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes but mine
Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes
In nobody's eyes but mine

scrap:
That's some crazy cool art too - you'd do well in NYC and other large cities down this way.

I despise The Killers. The Kills are far better.
