good morning. it's thursday...i'm still sick, it's moved into my lungs and throat but I am of sound mind enough to stop off at the pharmacie and buy some decongestant/expectorant/cough syrup. Hope it will make me feel better soon.
I've put the boy issues behind me. He's in Toronto now anyway for 4 days so I doubt i'll hear from him. I wish that I could go back to before we met, it's pretty much where I am now. I know it sounds hurtfull to say that, and we did have good times and he did make me happy, but knowing then what I know now I think I would of decided that one month is just not enough time. I made the mistake not him. I chose to jump in though the time he could give me was only a month.
Oh well. I think i'm gonna take off work tomorrow and just fucking rest and sleep and lounge. I need at least one day of rest to kick this cold in the butt. To top it off i'm bleeding...so like the only blood I have left in me is trying to fight off a cold and the rest is leaving me.
A coworker of mine told me a quote that I found soo funny I have to share:
"Men, how can you not be terrified of women? A creature that bleeds for five days straight and doesn't die? How can you trust that?"
and thank you to all my well wishers..you guys are my dear friends. and I will come back with a bang when im feeling better. promise. xoxox
In the meantime...think of me, have a cup of warm tea, curl up with a blanket and download this song. Read the lyrics, they are beautiful!
LES JOURS TRISTES (the sad days)
-Yann Tiersen (from the movie Amelie)
It's hard,
hard, not to sit on your hands,
burrow your head in the sand,
hard, not to make other plans
and claim that you've done all you can,
all alone
and life
must go on.
It's hard,
hard, to stand up for what's right
and bring home the bacon each night,
hard, not to break down and cry,
when every ideal that you tried
has been wrong.
But you must
carry on.
Ref:
It's hard,
but you know it's worth the fight,
cause you know you've got the truth on your side,
when the accusations fly.
Hold tight!
Don't be afraid of what they'll say.
Who cares what cowards think? Anyway,
They will understand some day,
some day.
It's hard,
hard, when you're here all alone
and everyone else's gone home.
Harder to know right from wrong
when all objectivity's gone
and it's gone.
But you still
carry on.
cause you,
you are the only one left
and you've got to clean up this mess.
You know you'll end up like the rest
Bitter and twisted - unless
you stay strong
And you
carry on.
Ref:
It's hard,

cause you know you've got the truth on your side,
when the accusations fly.
