Still massively motivated for this weight loss. And I can feel it working despite not being able to scientifically measure it on my scale. The damn thing decided to stop working! It's a digital scale and now only tells me I weight 166 lbs. I WISH!! I've even tried changing the batteries, but to no avail. So it's forcing me to NOT live by the scale, which in turn I'm guessing isn't so bad.
I went to MAC yesterday and told the sales girl I wanted a new base. I usually use StudioFix which is like a powder type thing, but wanted to try something new. She recommended the StudioStick which is like a stick of makeup you apply in certain areas instead of all over. She put some on me, and then came time for me to make the decision. Do I stay with the same product that is good but not great, or do I risk it and spend 35$ on a new product and venture into the unknown. Well...I took the new one, and as corny as it may seem it almost represented a new me. Ack I feel dumb saying this but it's one of the first little steps towards a new me..
The product is strangely better than the StudioFix because it's not uber matte (which I usually go for) and therefore looks more natural. It also coveres dark circles under the eyes better. It may be in my head, but I find it looks really good.
Today i'm calling my hairdresser to book an appointment to get my colour done. I want to go closer to my natural colour, a soft brown. Maybe later on get some fine gold highlights but later not now. It's kind of auburn, blonde, brown, and golden right now...as for cut, I don't know yet, but I think I may let it grow for a while.
Next on my list is clothes, but I decided not to buy new clothes untill I've lots a sufficient amount of weight...I ordered a pair of black pants from A&E but that's only because I had NOTHING left to wear for business meetings or special occasions. And what the heck..they were on special.
