There are mysterious times.

That phrase keeps appearing in my mind at random points of the day. With the grey weather, the groung starting to come alive again, the birds reappearing, and the self re-inventing frame of mind i'm in it just seems to come to that.

If you've ever seen the movie "Meet Joe Black" with Brat Pitt, you'll remember towards the beginning of the movie when Anthony Hopkins keeps hearing "Yes" repeated by a voice..well this feels similar. But it's a whisper and it's a female voice. What does it all mean? Who knows.

I'm taking a half day off from work today to go see my cousin and her little guy who's now 13 lbs at 2 months old. A real butterball baby hehe. He's like the closest thing to a nephew I have.

So far so good on the diet (see yesterday's journal for it) went to the gym this morning and saw cute gym guy woohoo. I feel great, already lost 1 lb. although it's just water right now it's still better than gaining. I want to start doing a photo diary of my progress to monitor if I see any difference.
