The parents are back home from their cruise. Safe and sound. Now I get to go back home to my empty apartment and do laundry, and go through my mound of email and snailmail.

As an appreciation of my taking care of the place my parents got me a 14k gold bracelet. It's really nice, but I feel too gemed out since I don't usually wear a lot of jewelery, but this is nice.
